Customer Service Representative
Customer Service

Our client is a local manufacturer of a global product line. The right person will have experience with all aspects of order processing, including verifying order accuracy, entering orders, communicating with customers regarding terms, status, and lead-times. This a long-term, direct hire role with our client located in Beaverton, Oregon.

  • Receive and enter purchase orders
  • Provide Order Confirmation to customer & salesperson following defined process
  • Communicate delivery status to customers, expediting/escalating deliveries as needed
  • Work with sales team and customers to resolve order-related issues
  • Produce and share appropriate order-related reports
  • Communicate effectively with customers via email and phone
  • Provide feedback to management on workflow improvements
  • Provide support as needed to sales team (e.g., quotation prep, opportunity follow-up)
  • 3+ years order management, customer service and PC experience required
  • 3+ years of PC experience to include:
    • Experience with CRM tools required, experience with Salesforce highly desired
    • Experience with ERP tools required, experience with NetSuite highly desired
    • Excel (assessment will be required)
  • Excels in advanced thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels
  • Strong attention to detail & well-organized
  • Comfortable working across multiple time zones, with non-US colleagues, and multiple cultures
  • Demonstrated experience in resolving customer issues while maintaining a polite, professional, customer-oriented demeanor
