Overview:
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and self-directed Service Manager to work in their office in the Portland area. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience overseeing a team of both technical and non-technical staff, dispatching field technicians, monitoring contracts and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Plans and schedules all service and subcontracting activities
  • Interacts with customers daily
  • Meet customer's technical response expectations
  • Responds to customer requests, queries, and complaints promptly and effectively
  • Prioritize calls to ensure urgent items are identified immediately
  • Prepares project service plans, manages plans and prepares and implements service procedures
  • Maintains schedules and coordinates task-scheduling
  • Inputs service tickets, service contracts and monitoring contracts into the system
  • Maintains all records of service status, changes, material flow and other control records as well as prepares and processes internal and external reports
  • Executes quality assurance programs to continuously improve customer satisfaction
  • Develops and maintains optimal relationships with the client decision-makers
  • Assists management with monthly billing forecasts
  • Prepares monthly service progress billing to capture all project costs
  • Provides management with job cost analysis and provide recommendations if needed
  • Executes and maintains services contracts
  • Additional responsibilities as allocated
Requirements:
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree is desirable
  • 3+ years’ experience in the servicing and installation of Commercial Electronic Security/Access Control Systems or IT systems
  • Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, design software, and project management software is preferred
  • Experience with dispatching and contract administration highly preferred
  • Excels at providing excellent customer support and follow-up
  • Must possess strong organizational and follow up skills
  • Strong people skills working with employees with varying backgrounds and skill levels
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly
  • Customer service minded
